Moscow captures 6-Man Wild West Bowl Title!

Moscow captured the fourth annual 6-Man Wild West Bowl Championship with a 52-6 victory over Cheylin on Saturday in Dodge City.

The Wildcats completed a perfect 10-0 season with a dominating win over the Cougars in the title game. Moscow never trailed on Saturday in scoring twice in the opening quarter to lead 14-0. Austin Snyder then added three rushing touchdowns in the second quarter as the Wildcats scored the game’s first 33 points

After Cheylin answered with a touchdown pass from Colton McCarty to Andrew Shields, Moscow’s defense got on the board with a fumble return for a touchdown and a 39-6 halftime lead.

The Wildcats then added a pair of third-quarter scores to end the title game early and claim the 6-Man Championship in just their second season since transitioning from eight-man football.

Golden Plains defeated Weskan 90-52 in a wild, high-scoring consolation game to claim third place. The Bulldogs finished the season with an 7-4 record, while Weskan finished 6-5.
