Why you chose the college you plan to attend: It has always been a dream of mine to play football at Kansas State, and when they offered the opportunity to walk on it was a great match.

Were you recruited to play other sports at the collegiate level: Some interest in baseball.

Notes / stats from high school career: 2 year captain, 4 year letter winner, Black Lion Award winner, 1,591 total yards, 13 total TD’s,  1st team Flint Hills League Linebacker, Honorable mention all state Linebacker, Honorable mention Flint Hills League Quarterback (Senior year). Honorable mention Flint Hills League Defensive back (Junior Year).

Favorite high school football memory: Beating our rival on a last second touchdown my senior year.

Kpreps comment: Langvardt played all over the field for the Braves last season. He split time at quarterback, in the backfield, and at wide receiver. Langvardt passed for 525 yards and three touchdowns, rushed for 860 yards and nine scores, and hauled in 11 passes for more than 200 yards and a touchdown. On the defensive side, he averaged eight tackles per game along with four sacks.
