  • Solomon (2-5, 1-3) at Pretty Prairie (0-7, 0-4) – Solomon reaches the playoffs with a win over Pretty Prairie. The Gorillas hold the head-to-head tie-breaker over Goessel. District 5

  • Clifton-Clyde (5-2, 3-1) at Bennington (3-4, 2-2) – Clifton-Clyde can claim the district championship by finishing with the most marginal points – a feat that would require the Eagles to win by at least 15 points and hope that Lincoln defeats Ell-Saline by at least that same margin. • Stockton (0-7, 0-4) at Quinter (4-3, 1-3) – Quinter reaches the bracket with a win. Stockton has been eliminated. The Tigers can only hope for a three-way tie with Quinter and Oberlin, but cannot finish with the most marginal points of the three teams.

District 7

  • Macksville (2-5, 1-3) at Kiowa County (1-6, 1-3) – This is essentially a playoff game with the winner qualifying for the bracket as the 4-seed, and the loser being left out of the playoffs.
  • WaKeeney-Trego (5-2, 4-0) at Pratt-Skyline (4-3, 3-1) – WaKeeney-Trego is the district champion with a win. Skyline can claim the district title with a win coupled with a La Crosse loss to Ness City. • Ness City (0-7, 0-4) at La Crosse (4-3, 3-1) – La Crosse qualifies as the district runner-up with a win and a Skyline loss to Trego. Ness City has been eliminated.

District 8

Sublette can win and hope for an Elkhart victory over Meade.  Even if Elkhart loses forcing a three-way tie, the Larks can get if they beat Spearville by 7 or more points. If Sublette wins by 5 points or fewer, Spearville would have the highest marginal point total (between them, Elkhart, & Sublette) and the Lancers would get the 3-seed. The remaining spot would go to Elkhart because of their head-to-head win over Sublette.

Pike Valley has been eliminated from the playoffs having lost to both Beloit St. John’s-Tipton and Wakefield.
  • Non-District: Fairfield (0-7) at Osborne (6-1) – This is a non-district game. Fairfield has already been eliminated from playoff consideration, while Osborne has already wrapped up the District 4 championship.

District 5

District 7

  • Kinsley (6-1, 2-1) at Stafford (1-6, 0-3) – Kinsley wins the district championship with a victory over Stafford coupled with a South Central loss to St. John. Stafford has been eliminated from the playoffs.
  • South Central (4-3, 2-1) at St. John (3-4, 1-2) – South Central can win the district title if they beat St. John by 21 or more points AND Kinsley beats Stafford. That scenario will create a three-way tie for first with South Central finishing with the most district margin points. If South Central loses, they are likely third in the district. If the Timberwolves win and Kinsley loses, South Barber will be the champ with South Central qualifying as the runner-up. St. John has qualified for the playoffs and can finish as the 3-seed if they beat South Central and Kinsley beats Stafford.
  • Non-District: Hodgeman County (5-2) at South Barber (6-1) – This is a non-district game. South Barber is the district champion with a Kinsley loss. The Chieftains also win the district if South Central wins by less than 19 points and Kinsley wins by less than 20 points.

Even if Dighton defeats Minneola, throwing the district into a three-way tie, the Wildcats will still finish with the most marginal points. In that scenario, Hodgeman holds the head-to-head tie-breaker over Dighton by virtue of its 58-30 win over the Hornets in Week 4. Thus Hodgeman County has already sewn up the runner-up spot and Dighton the 3-seed.
  • Bucklin (2-5, 0-3) at Satanta (0-7, 0-3) – This is essentially a playoff game with the winner qualifying for the playoffs as the fourth-place team out of this district while the loser does not make the playoff bracket.

District 1

  • Waverly (6-0, 4-0) at Southern Coffey Co. (2-5, 1-3) – Waverly has already won the district championship having beaten Chetopa – the only team that could tie the Bulldogs in the standings. If Southern Coffey County pulls off the upset, the Titans can finish fourth in the district if Peabody-Burns defeats Centre. If the Titans lose, they will be the 6-seed out of District 1.
  • Centre-Lost Springs (3-3, 1-3) at Peabody-Burns (4-3, 2-2) – The winner of this game is likely the No. 3 seed out of District 1. Centre will qualify as the 3-seed by beating Peabody-Burns by at least ten points or any margin of victory as long as Waverly beats Southern Coffey County. A Centre loss (along with a SCC loss to Waverly) leaves the Cougars as the 4-seed.
  • Non-District: Altoona-Midway (1-6) at Burrton (2-5) – This is a non-district game. Altoona-Midway owns the tie-breaker over Southern Coffey County for fifth place by virtue of the Jets’ 80-32 win over the Titans in Week 7.

  • Chase (0-5, 0-4) at Tescott (4-2, 3-1) – Tescott has clinched the runner-up spot out of this district having defeated Pawnee Heights – the only team that could tie the Trojans in the standings. Chase will be the 6th seed out of this district.

  • Non-District: Chetopa (5-1) at Ashland (6-1) – This is a non-district game that was added a few weeks ago. Ashland has claimed the district championship with wins over Deerfield and Ingalls.
  • Rolla has forfeited this game and the remainder of their season due to insufficient players. The Pirates are ineligible for playoff consideration as a result.

District 4

  • Golden Plains (2-5, 2-2) at Cheylin (7-0, 4-0) – Cheylin has already claimed the district championship with a victory over Northern Valley – the only team that could tie the Cougars in the standings. • Triplains-Brewster (2-5, 1-3) at Tribune-Greeley Co. (3-4, 2-2) – Greeley County is the No. 3 seed with a win over Triplains. A win by Triplains coupled with a Golden Plains loss to Cheylin would create a three-way tie and come down to margin points.
  • Western Plains-Healy (0-7, 0-4) at Northern Valley (6-1, 3-1) –Northern Valley has already secured the runner-up spot from this district. Western Plains will qualify as the No. 6 seed from this district.
