Kpreps comment: Sebastian was part of a core group of kids that delivered post-season success for the Blue Comets. Chanute won 15 games over the past two season including consecutive trips to the 4A state quarterfinals. The Blue Comets fell 20-13 to Eudora in 2011, and 24-22 to KC Piper last season. Fairchild finished his senior campaign with 43 catches for 625 yards and seven touchdowns in nine games.
It's important to remember that all college commitments are verbal and not truly finalized until the student-athletes sign National Letters of Intent on February 6th.
