Class 2A

District 1

  • St. Mary’s Colgan (4-0) at Riverton (3-1) – The winner will be the District 1 champion. A Riverton loss could result in the Rams dropping to third if Fredonia beats Southeast.
  • Fredonia (2-2) at Southeast-Cherokee (2-2) – A Fredonia victory over Southeast coupled with a Riverton loss to Colgan means the Yellow Jackets will finish as the district runners-up.  Southeast has already earned a playoff spot regardless of this week’s result.
  • Neodesha (0-4) at Erie (1-3) – Erie can still sneak into the playoffs with a win over Neodesha and a Fredonia loss to Southeast. Neodesha has been eliminated from playoff contention.

District 2

  • Wellsville (4-0) at West Franklin (0-4) – Wellsville has already secured the District 2 championship with wins over Osage City and Humboldt. West Franklin has been eliminated from playoff contention.
  • Osage City (3-1) at Humboldt (3-1) – Both teams have already qualified for the playoffs. The winner of this game will be the district runner-up, while the loser qualifies as the third-place finisher.
  • Jayhawk-Linn (1-3) at Eureka (1-3) – This is essentially a playoff game with the winner qualifying for the Class 2A bracket while the loser does not.

District 3

  • Rossville (4-0) at Mission Valley (2-2) – Rossville has already won the District 3 title with wins over Pleasant Ridge and Silver Lake. Meanwhile, Mission Valley has already secured a fourth-place finish in the district.
  • Silver Lake (3-1) at Pleasant Ridge (3-1) – Both teams have already qualified for the playoffs. The winner of this game will be the district runner-up, while the loser qualifies as the third-place finisher.
  • McLouth (0-4) at Oskaloosa (0-4) – Both the Bulldogs and the Bears have been eliminated from playoff consideration.

District 4

  • Atchison County (3-1) at St. Marys (3-0) – Both teams have qualified for the playoffs.  St. Marys is the district champion with a victory. Atchison County can win the district with a victory and a Nemaha Central loss.
  • Nemaha Central (3-1) at Republic County (2-2) – Both teams have qualified for the playoffs. Nemaha Central can win the district title with a victory and an Atchison County win over St. Marys.
  • Maur Hill-Mount Academy (0-3) at Riverside (0-4) – Both the Junior Ravens and the Cyclones have been eliminated from playoff consideration.

District 5

  • Hutchinson Trinity (3-1) at Hillsboro (4-0) – Both teams have qualified for the playoffs.  The winner will be the District 5 champion. A Hutch Trinity loss coupled with wins by Haven and Marion could create a three-way tie for second place which would be decided by average district points margin.
  • Sterling (0-4) at Haven (2-2) – Sterling has been eliminated. Haven can finish as the district runner-up with a win and losses by Hutch Trinity and Marion.
  • Lyons (1-3) at Marion (2-2) – Marion is in the playoffs with a win and could finish as high as district runner-up with a loss by Hutch Trinity and a Haven victory. If Marion wins, Hutch Trinity loses, and Haven loses, then the Warriors would finish third. Lyons chances for a playoff spot hinge on the Lions beating Marion and Haven beating Sterling.

District 6

  • Chaparral (4-0) at Kingman (4-0) – The winner is the District 6 champion, the loser is the runner-up.
  • Leon-Bluestem (0-4) at Garden Plain (2-2) – Garden Plain has wrapped up third place in the district thanks to wins over both Belle Plaine and Douglass. Bluestem has been eliminated.
  • Belle Plaine (1-3) at Douglass (1-3) – The winner of this one advances to the playoffs as the fourth seed out of District 6. The loser is left out of the bracket.

District 7

  • Cimarron (4-0) at Ellis (2-2) – Cimarron has already clinched the District 7 championship with wins over TMP and Lakin. Ellis has already secured the fourth seed out of this district having beaten SW Heights and Syracuse.
  • Lakin (3-1) at Thomas More Prep (3-1) – The winner of this game qualifies as the district runner-up and gets a home playoff game. The loser advances as the third-place team out of this district and will be on the road in the first round.
  • Southwestern Heights (0-4) at Syracuse (0-4) – Both the Mustangs and the Bulldogs have been eliminated from playoff consideration.

District 8

  • Hoisington (4-0) at Beloit (4-0) – The winner is the District 8 champion, the loser is the runner-up.
  • Phillipsburg (1-3) at Norton (1-3) – It’s simple for these two Mid-Continent League rivals – win and you’re in the playoffs, lose and you’re out. The winner qualifies as the fourth seed from this district.
  • Minneapolis (2-2) at Ellsworth (0-4) – Minneapolis has already secured the third-place finish in this district by virtue of wins over both Norton and Phillipsburg. Ellsworth has been eliminated.
