Kpreps.com takes you Around the Classes as we look at a handful of games in each classification from teams outside our top five rankings.

Class 6A:

Dodge City set up the WAC title game with its 35-14 victory over Great Bend. The Red Demons grabbed a 14-0 lead off of a Matt Friess run and a 50-yard connection from Tucker Smith to Tyler Smith. Joseph Moeder put the Panthers on the board, but Dodge City would add two touchdowns from Alden Knedler and Chance Kerr. Jade Poe would cap a Great Bend drive on a two-yard scamper; however, Matt Friess would catch a five-yard pass from Knedler to seal the game for the Red Demons. Dodge City heads to Hays this week with the WAC title on the line. Hays wins the WAC with a victory, while Dodge and Hays would split the WAC with a Red Demon win.

Olathe Northwest forced four Olathe South turnovers in beating the Falcons, 23-16. The Ravens had two big touchdown runs from Brady Robinson, including the 95-yard game winning kickoff return.
