The Mill Valley Jaguars raced out to a 21-0 lead in the first quarter in defeating defending champion Bishop Carroll, 35-14. The Jaguars captured the first state football championship in school history.

Bishop Carroll (11-1) will seek a second straight 5A championship on Saturday when the Golden Eagles take on top-ranked Mill Valley (11-1). The Jaguars have reached a state football championship game for the first time in school history.
