Dailin Kruger tossed five touchdown passes and ran for three more as Silver Lake beat Beloit 82-38 to win their eighth football championship. The 2 points by Silver Lake and the combined 120 points are new state championship game records.

The Silver Lake Eagles will make their fourth consecutive 3A state title game appearance on Saturday, while Beloit is in the championship game for the first time since 1996. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Gowans Stadium in Hutchinson.
